Sales Representative (Outside)

FULL-TIME

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for selling, marketing, promoting, and demonstrating products
    Increasing business by generating sales to new customers and by selling additional products to existing customers
  • Prospect for new accounts within a specified geographical territory.
  • Pursue product applications utilizing personal knowledge, internal resources, vendor representatives, and other available sources.
  • Establish and maintains customer relationships. Learn and evaluate customer operations to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements, and preferences
  • Process product quotations and provides continuous follow-up throughout the completion of the customer’s purchasing cycle.
  • Coordinate and direct employee teams to assist in large customer projects and high-tech automation issues
  • Gather and report to management information regarding the company, competitors, pricing, products, and current and future market trends as well as assist management and vendors in planning, tracking, and implementing sales strategies and developing new markets
  • Achieve and maintain technical capabilities at required levels, attend customer seminars and special promotions, and participates in a sales meeting, industry seminar, and training school to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • An associate degree or above is required (Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related major is preferred)
  • 4+ years’ sales experience in electrical wiring devices and the lighting control field
  • Qualified applicants must be customer-oriented and motivated with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Team player and a goal-getter
  • Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to drive decisions with influence
  • Experience in the electrical industry is preferred
  • Valid CA driver’s license and a clean record are required
  • Business travel is required, about 20%
  • Equivalent experience in the industry with a strong sales background will be given serious consideration

Sales Representative (Inside)

FULL-TIME

Responsibilities

  • Help customers determine the right Enerlites products to meet their needs
  • Assists outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions
  • Sell products and offer add-on and up-sell products that may benefit the customer
  • Execute sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner that will reflect favorably on the reputation of both the salesperson and the company
  • Processing orders
  • Reach sales goals
  • Create and maintain solid, long-term relationships with customers
  • Assist and resolve customer requests and/or problems in a prompt and professional manner
  • Work with Purchasing Department, Customer Service Department, and management to provide competitive quotations
  • Attend sales, product, and other company meetings
  • Maintain a current library of reference material
  • Maintain knowledge of products and their applications. Know major competitor product lines
  • Document lost sales and customer comments in SalesForce
  • Contact non-repeating customers and find out why they are not purchasing on a regular basis
  • Perform proactive telesales to customers assigned by the company and develop new customers and markets
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must possess strong PC skills
  • Must have the ability to work quickly and accurately within time constraints and against deadlines.
  • Must possess interpersonal skills, and organizational skills, be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask and communicate (verbal and written).
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution, product applications, and sales experience preferred.
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, and one year of wholesale electrical distribution experience and/or training is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

HR Generalist

FULL-TIME

Description

Responsibilities include employee relations, policy interpretation, and administration, advising department managers on related HR subjects, record keeping, employee engagement activities, and other duties as necessary to ensure maximum effectiveness of the Human Resources function.

Responsibilities

  • Daily/weekly review & approval of employee attendance, timesheets, and time-off requests
  • Manage and maintain all personnel files, including but not limited to staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, and disciplinary actions. 
  • Process employees’ inquiries and respond in a timely manner
  • Address employee grievances, provide coaching and counseling, as well as establish action plans and deliver results.
  • Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
  • Implement training and development plans
  • Create an employee engagement plan, get necessary budget approval, and initiate activities
  • Other miscellaneous admin duties

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
  • Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Bilingual is a plus (English and Chinese)

Customer Service

FULL-TIME

Responsibilities

  • Take care of placement of orders, refunds, exchanges, replacements, and cancel or upgrade customer accounts
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer issues and demonstrate a sense of urgency by providing efficient and timely responses to requests
  • By studying needs, preferences, and buying patterns of customers, increase sales volume. Introduce new and seasonal products and promote all products. Assist with sales of clearance product
  • Present new and creative ideas to streamline customer service processes and increase work efficiency
  • Work with other departments to assure availability, quality and delivery of products sold through wholesale sales
  • Continually work to improve industry knowledge

Qualifications

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to speak, read and write in English (Spanish is a plus)
  • Be organized and detail oriented and show ability to handle multiple, simultaneous projects in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of produce, including seasonality, source, quality, and handling
  • Ability to keep current on all of the latest information and industry trends
  • Pleasant and efficient phone manner, ability to build rapport over the phone
  • Position requires a computer literate individual with an aptitude for Windows applications and the ability to pick up new tasks quickly

Accounting Assistant

FULL-TIME

Responsibilities

  • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions in QuickBooks
  • Deposit payment into online bank
  • Verify payment-invoice discrepancies after obtaining and investigating information with sales, customer service and customers.
  • Call, voicemail or email customers to collect payment in proper manner. Work with collection company when necessary.
  • Prepare monthly commission based on invoices.
  • Do bookkeeping on payable transactions and file accounting documents.

Qualifications

  • QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred)

  • 1 years experience in accounting
